Bird & Iris Blush pairs a warm, muted blush ground with loosely painted bouquets in olive, sage, lilac, cream, teal and soft yellow. The floral groupings are spaced across the cloth, giving the design an airy rhythm while retaining plenty of visual detail.

About this fabric

Made from 100% linen, this 134 cm-wide fabric has a softly textured natural ground that gently tempers the colour of the florals. Each bouquet combines leafy olive and sage greens with dusty lilac flowers, creamy blooms, teal accents and small touches of yellow, creating a mellow, slightly vintage impression rather than a bright or high-contrast one. The pattern repeats every 65 cm vertically and 44 cm horizontally. Suitable for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads, it has a 20,000 Martindale rub test; professional dry cleaning is required and it must not be washed, bleached or ironed.

How to use it

Use the warm blush background to soften a bedroom headboard, occasional chair or relaxed curtain scheme, pairing it with olive, chalky cream and weathered wood. Its medium-scale bouquets can also sit comfortably across a bedspread without losing the painterly detail.
