Oriental Bird Signature Teal

Oriental Bird Signature Teal combines a cool, muted teal ground pattern with curling branches, birds and densely arranged botanical sprays. Coral pink, soft yellow and sage accents enliven the cream-led palette without losing its gently weathered character.

About this fabric

This printed fabric shows small birds perched among twisting branches, with coral flowers, mustard-yellow blooms, blue-green foliage and delicate sage detailing across a light ground. The teal is softly saturated rather than jewel-bright, giving the colourway a calm, collected depth as the fine botanical marks break up the surface. Woven in 85% viscose and 15% linen, it measures 137 cm wide and has a 79 cm vertical repeat with a 46 cm horizontal repeat. It is specified for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads, with a 25,000 Martindale rub test; professional dry cleaning is required and it must not be washed, bleached or ironed.

How to use it

Use the cool teal branches on a reading-chair or upholstered headboard, then pick up the coral and mustard flowers in cushions or small painted details. As curtains, the cream-led background keeps the intricate repeat feeling light while the teal adds definition.
