Oriental Bird Signature Soft Blue has a cool, softly faded blue ground filled with flowering branches, sage leaves, pale blooms and small perched birds. The low-contrast palette gives the detailed botanical scene a calm, airy character.

About this fabric

The design combines ivory and cream flowers with muted sage foliage, slender branching stems and repeated birds, all set against the distinctive blue-grey ground visible in this colourway. Made from 85% viscose and 15% linen, it has a 137 cm width and a 79 cm vertical repeat by 46 cm horizontal repeat. Its 25,000 Martindale rub test supports both loose and fixed upholstery, while the listed usage also includes curtains and bedspreads. After care is professional dry cleaning only: do not wash, bleach or iron.

How to use it

Use the cool blue ground to bring a gentle, collected feel to a bedroom blind, upholstered headboard or loose-covered chair. Pick up the sage leaves and creamy flowers with quiet natural upholstery tones rather than strong contrast.
