About this fabric

The swatch shows a tightly spaced field of small indigo rosettes and geometric dots over a warm ivory-cream ground; the blue reads cool and softly weathered rather than bright or saturated. Its 48% cotton/52% linen composition gives the cloth a natural textile presence, while the 130 cm width and 10 cm vertical by 14.5 cm horizontal repeat make the compact pattern easy to position. Veryan Indigo is specified for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads, with a 20,000 Martindale rub test. Care is professional dry cleaning only: do not wash, bleach or iron.

How to use it

Pair the cool indigo with chalky whites, pale timber and soft natural linens to keep the cream ground light and the small-scale pattern legible. It can bring detailed definition to a curtain, upholstered seat or bedspread without introducing a heavy block of colour.
