About this fabric

This 100% linen fabric has a softly textured, matte surface that allows the indigo motifs to read clearly without appearing harsh against the pale neutral ground. Rounded medallions repeat between vertical bands of small geometric detailing, creating a structured stripe effect with a traditional printed-textile character. At 137 cm (53.82") wide, with a 10 cm (3.93") vertical repeat and 19.2 cm (7.54") horizontal repeat, it can be planned across curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads. The blue is shaded and slightly softened rather than bright, bringing cool depth to the otherwise warm, light background.

How to use it

Use Alma Indigo on a chair, headboard or relaxed Roman blind where its cool blue medallions can sit against warm oak, natural timber and oatmeal upholstery. Its vertical banding also gives curtains a neat, ordered finish without overwhelming a room.
