Lapura Velvet Blue has a cool, weathered blue-teal ground, overlaid with an intricate symmetrical floral damask. Pale blue-grey detailing catches across the velvet surface, giving the colourway a softly aged, layered appearance.

About this fabric

The pattern combines scrolling foliage, stylised blooms and small ornamental motifs in a balanced vertical arrangement, with the contrast softened into blue-grey rather than bright highlights. As a velvet made from 56% cotton and 44% linen, it has a substantial, tactile character suited to curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads. The fabric is 132 cm (51.86") wide, with a 59 cm (23.18") vertical repeat and a 33 cm (12.96") horizontal repeat. Its cool blue-teal depth works especially well where the ornate design needs to feel atmospheric and settled rather than vivid. Care instructions specify professional dry cleaning only; do not wash, bleach or iron.

How to use it

Use this cool, muted blue-teal on a statement chair, sofa or upholstered bed, pairing it with warm wood and quiet stone neutrals to balance the intricate damask. It can also bring depth to full-length curtains while retaining the room's soft, timeworn character.
