Lapura Damask Ochre has a warm, weathered golden-ochre ground patterned with pale, finely drawn floral damask motifs. Its softly mottled surface gives the ornate design an aged, layered character rather than a crisp, high-contrast finish.

About this fabric

The ochre background shifts subtly between mustard gold and brown, while lighter beige-gold leaves, scrolling stems and stylised floral medallions define the symmetrical pattern. Fine distressed markings and tonal variation remain visible through the motif, giving the cloth depth and a gently timeworn appearance. Made from 82% viscose and 18% linen, the fabric is 137 cm wide with a 59 cm vertical repeat and 68.5 cm horizontal repeat. It is specified for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads, with a 9,000 Wyzenbeek Cotton Duck rub test; professional dry cleaning is required.

How to use it

Pair the muted ochre-gold tone with warm neutrals, aged timber and antique brass for a richly collected scheme. Use the repeating damask on a statement chair, upholstered headboard, curtains or a bedspread where its symmetrical detail can be appreciated.
