Essential Colour III - Colour FabricBF11186.840

About this fabric

The subtle woven texture creates a restrained micro-pattern, while the ochre shade shifts between warm beige and soft tobacco under the light. Made from 48% viscose, 29% cotton, 15% linen and 8% polyester, it has a balanced composition suited to everyday interior use. At 140 cm (55") wide, Fitzroy Ochre is specified for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads. The fabric has a 27,000 Martindale rub test and a 7 cm (2.75") horizontal pattern repeat.

How to use it

Use Fitzroy Ochre to bring a mellow golden note to a reading chair, upholstered headboard or full-length curtain, pairing it with chalky neutrals, natural timber and deeper tobacco accents. Its fine texture works particularly well where you want warmth without a strong printed motif.

A softly textured golden ochre weave for coordinated upholstery, curtains and bedspreads.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
