About this fabric
The colour reads as a rich, earthy emerald-olive, with darker and lighter green movement visible across the softly textured surface. The close, lightly brushed finish catches the light unevenly, creating a quiet velvety effect without a visible motif. Woven from 45% cotton, 40% viscose and 15% polyester, it is 137 cm wide and rated to 50,000 Martindale rubs. Its listed uses include curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads; professional dry cleaning is required, and it must not be washed, bleached or ironed.
How to use it
Use Bray Emerald on a reading chair, sofa or upholstered headboard when a room needs deep, grounded green without a patterned repeat. Its olive cast also works well as full-length curtains against warm timber, stone, brass or natural linen.
A deep olive green with a softly mottled surface, suited to tailored upholstery, curtains and layered bedroom schemes.

Pairs well with
Bray Emerald is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
