Persian Pomegranate Aqua/Multi places an intricate garden of flowers, leafy branches and small birds over a cool, pale aqua ground. The clear ground gives the densely coloured pattern a fresh, airy quality while allowing the burgundy, blue, yellow and green motifs to remain distinct.

About this fabric

Woven from 100% linen, this 132 cm wide fabric has a detailed vertical repeat of 90 cm and a horizontal repeat of 66 cm. Large peony-like blooms sit among smaller white flowers, blue blossoms, yellow foliage, berries and perched birds, creating a richly layered composition rather than a simple all-over sprig. The pale aqua background reads cool and lightly luminous, with the visible linen weave softening the contrast between the saturated burgundy, cobalt, leaf green and golden yellow accents. With a 35,000 Martindale rub test, it is specified for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads; professional dry cleaning is required, with no washing, bleaching or ironing.

How to use it

Use the pale aqua ground to brighten a statement chair, headboard or upholstered bench, then draw out the burgundy and deep blue flowers in plain cushions or trim. As curtains or a bedspread, the cool background keeps this abundant botanical pattern feeling fresh rather than heavy.
