About this fabric

This Crayford colourway reads as a muted, softly yellowed olive green, with lighter threads catching across the surface to give the cloth gentle depth. Its fine plain weave is visibly tactile and slightly irregular, retaining the natural character of linen without a pronounced pattern. Made from 100% linen and 137 cm wide, it is specified for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads. The fabric has a 35,000 Martindale rub test; care instructions are professional dry cleaning only and cool ironing.

How to use it

Use this olive-green linen on a relaxed armchair, upholstered headboard or full-length curtains where its softly mottled surface can sit alongside warm timber, cream walls and natural fibres. Its yellowed green tone also brings a gentle, grounded colour accent to an otherwise neutral room.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
