Calathea Olive

Glasshouse Wallpapers WallpaperSAW0127-02

Calathea Olive is a densely layered botanical wallpaper on a warm ivory ground, with broad tropical leaves picked out in muted olive, pale green and occasional pink. The olive tones read softly rather than brightly, giving the foliage a settled, natural depth.

About this wallpaper

The design combines striped, veined and fenestrated leaves, creating a varied surface of olive greens against the light ground. Small areas of dusty pink appear between the foliage, adding a restrained warm accent to the otherwise earthy palette. This wallpaper has a 68.6 cm usable width and a 76.2 cm vertical pattern repeat, with no horizontal repeat listed. Supplied at 153 gsm in a standard 10.05 m length, it is suited to planning a continuous leafy wall treatment around the stated repeat.

How to use it

Use Calathea Olive across a feature wall in a room with warm ivory paint, olive upholstery or natural timber. Echo the subdued pink details with a small accessory rather than a dominant block of colour, so the layered foliage remains the focus.

Use this softly contrasted olive botanical on a feature wall to bring layered foliage and restrained pink accents into an ivory-led scheme.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
