About this fabric

Across the dark ground, each fan palm is built from numerous narrow gold fronds that spread from a concentrated centre, with partial motifs appearing at the edges of the repeat. The charcoal tone reads almost black in the swatch, allowing the muted gold to provide the only warm lift without becoming bright or brassy. This wallpaper has a usable width of 52 cm, a standard length of 10.05 m and a 52 cm vertical pattern repeat; the supplied horizontal repeat is 0 cm. Its listed weight is 154 gsm.

How to use it

Use this colourway on a feature wall where its near-black depth can frame warm timber, antique brass or soft neutral upholstery. The restrained gold fan palms suit a study, dining room or intimate bedroom more readily than a light, airy scheme.

A dramatic charcoal ground makes the warm gold fan palms read as bold, elegant wall art.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
