Fernery Botanical Green/Charcoal

Glasshouse Wallpapers WallpaperSAW0129-02

Fernery Botanical Green/Charcoal places finely drawn fern fronds and delicate stems against a deep charcoal ground. The vivid leaf markings bring a cool, shadowy botanical character, with lighter greens catching the eye across the surface.

About this fabric

The design combines tall, open fern sprays with feathery central foliage, slender hanging stems and small branching shoots, creating a varied botanical arrangement rather than a uniform repeat. Against the near-black charcoal background, lime, moss and mid-green leaves read with crisp contrast, while the darker greens add depth and keep the overall effect grounded. This wallpaper has a 68.6 cm usable width and a 76.2 cm vertical pattern repeat, with no horizontal repeat listed. It is supplied in a standard 10.05 m length and has a listed weight of 147 gsm.

How to use it

Pair this cool green-and-charcoal colourway with dark painted wood, aged brass and warm natural timber to soften the deep ground without competing with the detailed foliage. It would make a particularly atmospheric backdrop in a study, dressing room or garden-inspired hallway.

Use the charcoal ground and layered fern greens to bring depth to studies, libraries or garden rooms.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Fernery Botanical Green/Charcoal without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
