Jackfruit Botanical Green

Glasshouse Fabrics FabricSAF0288-01

Jackfruit Botanical Green brings a lively tropical mix of fruit, leaves and seedpod motifs on a crisp pale ground. The greens feel bright and fresh rather than deep or sombre, with yellow-green accents that add extra lift.

About this fabric

This Sanderson fabric from the Glasshouse Fabrics collection has a usable width of 139 cm and a substantial 236 gsm weight, with 74 threads per cm for a finely made printed cloth. The design shows layered botanical forms, from rounded jackfruit-like fruits to feathery fronds and slender pods, all drawn in varied greens with touches of pale aqua and yellow. On the white ground, the colourway reads clean and vibrant, with enough depth in the darker leaf shapes to give the pattern definition without making it heavy. The 63.5 cm vertical repeat and 91.5 cm horizontal repeat create a bold, generous pattern rhythm suited to statement furnishing.

How to use it

Pair this fresh green colourway with pale timber, rattan and crisp white paint for a bright conservatory feel. It also works well against earthy neutrals if you want the print to stay the focal point.

Use for lively upholstery or curtains where you want the fruit-and-foliage pattern to stay fresh and bright.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Jackfruit Botanical Green without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
