About this fabric
Manila Embroidery Eucalyptus from Sanderson’s Glasshouse Fabrics is a substantial fabric with a 510 gsm weight and a dense 71 threads per cm construction, giving it a poised, tailored feel. The 136 cm usable width and 22.8 cm vertical repeat support upholstered work and larger-scale drapery applications, while the 66.5 cm horizontal repeat creates a broad, balanced pattern flow. Visually, the colourway reads as a cool eucalyptus green, slightly blue-leaning, with the pale embroidered stripes lifting the surface and adding crisp contrast. The repeating fan shapes feel bold but controlled, making the cloth look patterned rather than busy. It has no performance features noted, so the appeal here is its decorative strength and textural clarity.
How to use it
Use this colourway where you want a clean botanical statement, such as a club chair, ottoman, or framed dining seats. The cool green tone sits well with oak, pale stone, chalky whites, and other muted greens for a layered, collected scheme.
A strong botanical stripe that adds crisp, tailored interest to statement seating or full-length curtains.

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Manila Embroidery Eucalyptus without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
