About this fabric

This Sanderson fabric from the Embleton Bay Fabrics collection is a 252 gsm textile with a usable width of 141 cm and a generous 76.5 cm vertical repeat, so the large-scale botanical design has room to breathe. The print visible here is light and open rather than dense, with slender stems, feathery umbels and dandelion-like heads in muted sage, leaf green, silver and pale yellow. Its 38 threads per cm give the cloth a finely woven, well-resolved surface that suits both upholstery and drapery applications. The Silver/Spring Leaf colourway reads cool and airy overall, with just enough green depth to keep the pattern from disappearing into the ivory ground.

How to use it

Use it to bring a soft spring note into a sitting room, conservatory or bedroom, where the pale ground will keep the pattern feeling bright. It works especially well with painted wood in chalk white, putty or muted green, and with natural linens and blonde timber.

A fresh botanical that softens beautifully in light, airy interiors.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Wild Angelica Silver/Spring Leaf without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
