About this fabric

This colourway pairs misty tidewater blue waterways with chalky cottages, sandy shores and delicate green trees, creating a gentle seaside picture with a faded, almost watercolour finish. The fabric is specified at 139 cm usable width with a 89 cm vertical repeat and a matching 139 cm horizontal repeat, so the scene is set on a broad, mural-like scale. At 250 gsm and 35.4 threads per cm, it reads as a substantial printed fabric with enough body for relaxed upholstery as well as statement curtains. The overall effect is pale, cool and slightly weathered, with the blue softened by ivory and grey rather than made bright or saturated.

How to use it

Use it to bring a calm coastal note to a loose sofa, window seat or dining chairs, where the soft blue and green details can be appreciated up close. It also works well for curtains in light-filled rooms, letting the washed seaside palette keep the space open.
