About this fabric

Pressed Flowers Sable/Corn from Sanderson’s Embleton Bay Fabrics is a fabric with a 138.5cm usable width and a substantial 278gsm weight, giving it enough body for soft furnishing use while still reading light in colour. The design shows a repeated horizontal band of delicate meadow stems, with fine sable outlines, muted beige leaves and scattered corn-yellow flower heads. Its 70cm vertical repeat and 69.5cm horizontal repeat create a broad, decorative stripe effect that feels airy rather than dense. At 31 threads per cm, the cloth has a fine, closely woven surface that suits the crisp detail of the printed botanicals.

How to use it

Use this colourway where you want a pale, restful scheme with just enough pattern to stop it feeling plain. It would look especially good at full height on curtains or Roman blinds, where the soft sable linework and corn highlights can read against daylight.

A gentle neutral stripe with meadow detailing that works beautifully in light, airy rooms.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
