About this fabric

This Sanderson fabric sits within the Linnean Weaves collection and is supplied as a 138 cm-wide cloth on a 40 m standard roll. At 585 gsm with 222 threads per cm, it has the substantial feel of a hard-wearing upholstery fabric, while the 7 cm vertical and 5.8 cm horizontal repeat keeps the pattern neat and controlled. The swatch appears as a soft stone grey with a creamy cast, so the herringbone effect stays understated rather than graphic. Light catches the raised weave gently, giving the surface a dry, tailored texture that feels calm and refined.

How to use it

Use this stone grey on a tailored armchair, banquette or headboard where the small woven pattern can add depth without dominating. Its cool-neutral tone works especially well with bleached oak, pale plaster, charcoal accents and other soft architectural finishes.
