Linnean Lime

Linnean Weaves FabricSAF0291-04

Linnean Lime is a crisp geometric weave in a fresh lime green, lifted by a pale ground that keeps the pattern bright rather than heavy. The small repeating motif reads neatly and rhythmically across the surface.

About this fabric

This Sanderson fabric from the Linnean Weaves collection has a tightly worked, textured look that suits its substantial 560 gsm weight and 93 threads per cm. The 141.5 cm usable width gives good coverage for upholstery projects, while the 9.5 cm vertical and 9 cm horizontal repeats create a compact, orderly pattern. In this colourway, the lime outline feels lively but softened, with a slightly chalky brightness against the lighter background. The overall effect is clean and graphic, with enough body in the weave to hold the pattern sharply on seating.

How to use it

Use Linnean Lime on an accent chair, footstool or banquette to bring a fresh, structured note into a neutral scheme. It works especially well with pale timber, white paintwork and simple contemporary shapes.

Pair with crisp white or pale oak to keep the lively lime tone feeling clean and tailored.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Linnean Lime without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
