Fernery Weave Botanical Green

Glasshouse Fabrics FabricSAF0283-02

Fern-like botanical motifs are scattered across a clean pale ground, giving this colourway a light, fresh look. The green and yellow-green leaf shapes feel airy rather than dense, so the design reads crisp and open from a distance.

About this fabric

Fernery Weave Botanical Green from Sanderson’s Glasshouse Fabrics collection is a substantial fabric, with a usable width of 140 cm, a 40 m standard length, a 68 cm vertical repeat and a 47 cm horizontal repeat. Its 505 gsm weight and 520 threads per cm suggest a tightly made cloth with enough body for structured furnishings as well as lighter window treatments. Visually, the print shows repeated fern plumes in layered green, teal and yellow-green on a soft off-white ground, creating a cool, botanical palette with a little sunny lift at the tips. The pattern feels orderly and rhythmic rather than busy, and the woven-looking leaf detail gives the surface a finely textured, tailored character.

How to use it

Use this shade where you want greenery without darkness: it works well against pale plaster, oak, and painted joinery. The soft green and yellow tones keep it lively for curtains, while the substantial cloth also suits seat cushions and upholstered panels.

Fresh fern motifs on a pale ground bring an airy, natural feel to upholstery or curtains.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Fernery Weave Botanical Green without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
