Alice`s Fern Silver/Green

Highgrove by Sanderson Fabrics FabricSAF0452-01

Alice’s Fern Silver/Green shows a light cream ground scattered with delicate fern fronds in soft silver-green and deeper mossy notes. The overall effect is airy and natural, with the botanical motif forming gentle vertical trails across the cloth.

About this fabric

This Sanderson fabric has a usable width of 139 cm and a substantial 400gsm weight, which gives the surface a confident, upholstered feel rather than a floaty drape. The pattern repeat is 62.5 cm vertically and 68 cm horizontally, and the fern trail is spaced to create an elegant, column-like rhythm. In this colourway, the pale green leaves sit softly against the warm ivory base, while the darker green accents add definition without making the design feel heavy. The 84 threads per cm specification suggests a closely worked weave that helps the print sit cleanly on the cloth.

How to use it

Use it on a neat armchair, bench or tailored cushions where the gentle green palette can read fresh and understated. It also works well alongside painted timber, limestone and other muted natural finishes for a calm garden-room look.

A fresh, leafy print that brings a calm country feel to seating or soft furnishings.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Alice`s Fern Silver/Green without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
