About this fabric

This Sanderson fabric has a substantial 455 gsm weight and a dense 108 threads per cm, giving the cloth a firm, richly worked character that suits upholstery particularly well. The usable width is 134 cm, with a vertical pattern repeat of 77 cm and a horizontal repeat of 67 cm, so the motif has a generous, rhythmic presence. Visually, the ivory ground keeps the design fresh while the sapphire edging and ruby centres add a saturated, jewel-box contrast. The embroidery-like finish feels ornate rather than heavy, with mustard, olive, teal and pink details softening the stronger blue and red notes.

How to use it

Use it on a statement armchair, ottoman or bench where the sapphire and ruby accents can read against painted wood or dark timber. It also works as a focal textile in a layered scheme with plain linens, chalky neutrals or deep navy accents.
