Apothecary Rose Ether Blues

Highgrove by Sanderson Fabrics FabricSAF0455-01

Apothecary Rose Ether Blues pairs a creamy ivory ground with delicate blush blue and warm beige patterning, giving the design a light, quietly decorative feel. The repeating stripe keeps the surface ordered while the woven look softens the overall effect.

About this fabric

This Highgrove by Sanderson fabric is specified as a 200 gsm textile with a usable width of 137.5 cm, a pattern repeat of 51.5 cm vertically and 66.5 cm horizontally, and 142 threads per cm. In the image, the ground reads as warm ivory, with small painterly clusters in dusty blue and camel-beige linked by slender golden vertical bands. The colourway feels fresh rather than bright, with the blue sitting in a muted powder range and the beige adding an earthy, heritage note. Its mid-weight handle makes it suitable for both upholstery and drapery where a tailored, decorative stripe is wanted.

How to use it

Use it on a pair of armchairs, a headboard or relaxed curtains where the soft blue and beige will lift cream walls without shouting. It works especially well alongside oak, pale plaster, and brushed brass finishes.

The soft blue and warm beige palette reads airy and refined, ideal for elegant rooms that need pattern without heaviness.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
