Bird of Paradise Linen

Glasshouse Wallpapers WallpaperSAW0126-01

Bird of Paradise Linen brings two long-tailed birds, delicate foliage and sweeping fronds together on a pale ivory ground. Its soft grey, taupe and blue-grey linework gives the colourway a quiet, lightly atmospheric character.

About this fabric

The design is drawn in layered grey, taupe and faint blue-grey tones, with the birds’ feather detailing and the veining of the large leaves clearly visible against the warm ivory background. Long fern-like fronds create vertical movement, while the flowering branch and broad patterned leaves add depth through finely etched lines rather than strong colour contrast. The wallpaper has a 76.2 cm vertical pattern repeat and no horizontal repeat, allowing the composition to flow in a single direction across the roll. Supplied at a 68.6 cm usable width, with a standard length of 10.05 m and a weight of 153 gsm, it is suited to creating a considered feature wall or fully enveloping botanical scheme.

How to use it

Use this ivory and soft grey colourway in a calm bedroom, reading room or dining space where its tall fronds can be appreciated at full scale. Pair the cool-grey birds with pale timber, linen upholstery and restrained taupe accents to keep the scheme as softly layered as the wallpaper.

A pale ivory botanical wallpaper with finely drawn birds, foliage and feathery fronds in softly muted grey tones.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
