Paradesia Fig/Indigo

Glasshouse Fabrics FabricSAF0297-02

Paradesia Fig/Indigo sets a lively botanical scene on a warm ivory ground, with jewel-toned birds, fruit and leaves floating across the surface. The palette feels bright but softened, so the design reads decorative rather than overpowering.

About this fabric

This Sanderson fabric from the Glasshouse Fabrics collection is a textile with a usable width of 139 cm, a 60 m standard length, and a weight of 252 gsm. The print shows teal and indigo birds, pink-red tropical blooms, soft green foliage and dusky fig-toned fruit scattered over a creamy background. The ground colour has an ivory warmth that keeps the richer blues, greens and coral accents feeling fresh and airy. With a pattern repeat of 88 cm vertically and 139 cm horizontally, the design makes a strong, expansive statement across larger drops or broad upholstery runs. Its 38 threads per cm suggest a closely woven cloth with enough substance for a polished decorative finish.

How to use it

Use it on statement chairs, cushions or occasional upholstery where the fig and indigo details can sit against pale timber, limewash or natural oak. It also works beautifully in a garden room or bright sitting room with other cream and green layers.

Let the vivid birds and botanical motifs do the talking against the soft ivory ground.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
