Paradesia Orange/Olive

Paradesia Orange/Olive is a decorative botanical fabric with birds, leaves and exotic flowers scattered across a warm ivory ground. The orange, olive and green palette gives the design a lively, painterly feel without looking overly bright.

About this fabric

This Sanderson fabric from the Glasshouse Fabrics collection is 139 cm wide, supplied on a 60 m roll, and has a generous 88 cm vertical repeat with a full-width 139 cm horizontal repeat. At 252 gsm and 38 threads per cm, it reads as a substantial decorative textile with enough body for structured soft furnishings. In this colourway, the orange accents are softened by earthy olive greens and leafy tones, so the pattern feels rich and slightly sun-faded rather than sharp. The ivory background keeps the birds and exotic blooms feeling airy, while the printed detail and fine linework add a hand-painted character.

How to use it

The warm orange and olive notes suit rooms with timber, rattan or painted greens, where the fabric can pick up natural materials. It works especially well as curtains, Roman blinds or accent cushions when you want a botanical print with a softer, heritage feel.

Use for statement curtains or an ornamental blind where the lively botanical print can breathe.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Paradesia Orange/Olive without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
