Manila Embroidery Indigo

Glasshouse Fabrics FabricSAF0292-03

Manila Embroidery Indigo combines a sharp indigo stripe with soft teal embroidery-like arcs across a bright ground. The repeating fan motif feels crisp and graphic, with the darker navy lines giving the design real definition.

About this fabric

This Sanderson fabric from the Glasshouse Fabrics collection is a substantial 510gsm cloth with a usable width of 136 cm and a standard length of 40 m. The pattern repeats every 22.8 cm vertically and 66.5 cm horizontally, so the large fan motif reads with clear rhythm across wider pieces. In this colourway, the indigo stripes feel cool and deep, while the teal accents lift the design and stop it from reading too heavy. The high thread count of 71 threads per cm supports the clean, finely drawn look visible in the swatch, making it especially suited to tailored interiors.

How to use it

Use it on an accent chair, banquette or cushion where the large repeat can be shown off. It works well with whitewashed wood, pale linen and other blue-green accents for a fresh, coastal-smart scheme.

Pair with crisp ivory or pale oak to let the indigo stripes and teal arcs stay fresh and graphic.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
