About this fabric

This Sanderson fabric from the Glasshouse Fabrics collection has a usable width of 141 cm and comes on a standard 30 m roll. At 327 gsm, it has enough body to work comfortably as upholstery as well as curtains, while the 126 threads per cm suggest a closely woven, refined finish. The pattern repeat is 45.5 cm vertically and 70 cm horizontally, creating a steady, repeating rhythm of upright fern plumes across the cloth. In this Orchid White colourway, the ground is a warm cream-white and the motif is only a shade lighter, so the overall effect is quiet, tonal and gently textural rather than high-contrast.

How to use it

Pair it with pale oak, chalk paintwork and brushed brass for a scheme that feels fresh but composed. The soft orchid-white tone is especially good in rooms where you want pattern and movement without introducing strong colour.
