About this fabric

This Sanderson fabric has a substantial 236 gsm weight and a usable width of 139 cm, so it feels more tailored than flimsy while still reading light and decorative. The large 119 cm vertical repeat and matching 139 cm horizontal repeat create an expansive, mural-like floral rhythm, with each tulip shown in a loose, brushy style. On the swatch, the white ground keeps the whole design fresh, while the blooms bring flashes of saturated red, pink, apricot and violet that lift the surface without darkening it. The cloth has a fine, tightly woven look with 74 threads per cm, which helps the printed colours stay sharp and vivid.

How to use it

This colourway suits curtains, blinds or soft Roman shades where the white ground can reflect daylight and let the tulip colours pop. It pairs well with pale painted wood, crisp linens and deeper accent colours drawn from the flowers, especially plum or raspberry.
