About this fabric

This Sanderson velvet has a usable width of 140 cm and a substantial 570 gsm weight, which suits its dense, luxurious handle. The pattern repeat runs 70 cm horizontally, while the vertical repeat is 0 cm, creating a flowing, elongated effect across the cloth. Visually, the colourway reads as an earthy olive with khaki and moss undertones, while the darker drawn-out lines introduce a shadowed, almost brushy texture. The overall impression is grounded rather than bright, with the velvet sheen lifting some areas into a softer green and leaving others in a deeper olive-brown note.

How to use it

Use this colourway on an armchair, banquette or headboard where the olive ground can sit against timber, leather or natural linens. It also works well in a room with muted ochre, tobacco or charcoal accents, where the vertical striation can add quiet drama.

The mottled olive ground and dark vertical striations give this velvet an earthy, softly dramatic feel.
