Amberley Stripe Meadow Moss

Highgrove by Sanderson Stripes FabricSAF0477-04

Amberley Stripe Meadow Moss is a softly tailored stripe with an earthy olive ground and narrow light bands that read clean and orderly. The overall effect is muted and country-quiet rather than bright or graphic.

About this fabric

This woven fabric has a substantial 500 gsm handle and 21 threads per cm, giving the stripe a crisp, structured feel that still looks refined rather than bulky. The usable width is 142 cm, with a 20 cm horizontal repeat and no vertical repeat, so the pattern presents as regular columns of narrow pale stripes across the mossy base. In this colourway, the olive ground feels weathered and natural, with a warm, slightly dusty cast that softens the contrast. The fine cream and taupe striping lifts the surface and keeps the design feeling fresh, making it suitable for upholstery or drapery where a smart, heritage look is wanted.

How to use it

Use it on a tailored armchair, bench cushion or Roman blind where the vertical stripe can add height and order. It sits particularly well with oak, aged brass and linen textures in warm neutrals.

Pair with warm woods and quiet neutrals for a tailored, country-house look.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Amberley Stripe Meadow Moss without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
