Shetland Plaid Lovat

Garden Party Wallpaper WallpaperFG129.R106

Shetland Plaid Lovat has a subdued olive-brown ground crossed by fine blue-grey and russet lines, giving the plaid a quietly weathered country character. The layered checks read softly rather than brightly, with the darker brown blocks adding depth across the surface.

About this wallpaper

This Mulberry Home wallpaper is made from 100% Non Woven and measures 52 cm wide, with a vertical pattern repeat of 28.5 cm. The Lovat colourway combines muted olive and tobacco-brown check blocks with narrow blue-grey, cream and rust-red lines. Its low-saturation palette has a cool, mossy cast in the lighter areas, while the brown panels bring warmth and visual weight. The closely spaced intersecting lines create a tailored plaid appearance with a gently textured, woven-looking effect.

How to use it

Pair this olive-brown plaid with warm timber, aged brass and russet or oatmeal upholstery for a grounded country scheme. It would add especially effective depth to a study, boot room or snug without overwhelming the room.

Use this muted olive-brown plaid to bring tailored country character to a study, hallway or cosy sitting room.

Pairs well with

Shetland Plaid Lovat is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
