Shetland Plaid Quartz

Garden Party Wallpaper WallpaperFG129.W122

Shetland Plaid Quartz layers muted taupe and dusty rose into a measured plaid, crossed by fine olive, charcoal and pale lines. The restrained, weathered palette gives the check a softly softened depth rather than a bright country contrast.

About this wallpaper

This wallpaper shows broad taupe and rose bands intersected by narrow charcoal, olive and pale lines, creating a balanced medium-scale check. The Quartz colourway reads warm and subdued, with dusty terracotta-rose accents set against a soft brown-grey ground. It is made from 100% non-woven material and is supplied at 52 cm wide. The vertical pattern repeat is 28.5 cm, or 11.2 inches, allowing the plaid structure to continue in a clear, regular rhythm.

How to use it

Use the muted taupe ground as the room’s quiet base, then draw out the dusty rose and olive lines with painted joinery, plain upholstery or soft furnishings. Its softened contrast works particularly well where a traditional plaid is wanted without a strong, high-colour statement.

A softly weathered plaid in taupe, dusty rose, olive and charcoal, suited to characterful country interiors.

Pairs well with

Shetland Plaid Quartz is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
