Olvera Linen

Jeffrey Alan Marks Waterside FabricPF50391.110

Olvera Linen is a softly textured woven fabric in warm taupe and ivory, patterned with closely spaced, broken chevrons. Its low-contrast zigzag catches the light gently, giving the surface a quietly dimensional finish.

About this fabric

The small-scale chevron is formed from irregular, tactile yarns, with ivory zigzags moving across a muted taupe ground and subtle tonal variation through the weave. Made from 67% rayon and 33% polyester, the fabric is 142.55 cm (56 inches) wide and has a 27,000 Martindale rub test. Its 11.45 cm vertical and 17.82 cm horizontal pattern repeats keep the geometric rhythm neat on upholstered and dressed surfaces. Olvera Linen is suitable for curtains, fixed upholstery and bedspreads; it must be professionally dry cleaned and should not be washed, bleached or ironed.

How to use it

Use this warm taupe-and-ivory colourway on a tailored armchair, headboard or full-length curtains where the restrained chevron adds movement without overwhelming a neutral room. Pair it with ivory boucle, natural timber and soft brown accents to reinforce its relaxed, woven character.

A warm, low-contrast chevron weave for tailored upholstery, curtains and coordinated bedspreads.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Olvera Linen without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
