About this fabric

Made from 100% polyester, this 140 cm-wide fabric has a softly textured appearance that gives the taupe colour quiet depth as the light shifts across it. Its muted mushroom tone sits between warm beige and cool grey, making it more nuanced than a flat neutral. With a 42,000 Wyzenbeek Wire Mesh rub test, it is suitable for fixed upholstery as well as curtains and bedspreads. Care instructions specify a cool machine wash minimum, professional dry cleaning, no tumble drying or bleach, and a cool iron.

How to use it

Use Maddox Taupe on a tailored armchair, headboard or upholstered bed for a calm, softly layered scheme. Its mushroom-grey tone also works well as full-length curtains alongside warm woods, chalky walls and deeper brown accents.
