About this fabric

This 140 cm (55") fabric combines 59% polyester and 41% acrylic in a close, subtly variegated weave. Fine horizontal and vertical threads create the visible crosshatch texture, with lighter and darker grey fibres catching across the surface rather than forming a flat block colour. Rated at 30,000 Martindale rubs, it is suitable for curtains, fixed upholstery and bedspreads. Care instructions specify a cool minimum machine wash, professional dry cleaning, no tumble drying, no bleach and a cool iron.

How to use it

Use Kinnerton Granite to upholster a clean-lined sofa or headboard where its cool grey depth can soften crisp white, stone and pale timber. It also makes understated curtains or a bedspread, allowing the woven texture to carry interest without introducing a strong pattern.
