Montpellier Velvet Soft Grey has a cool, pale blue-grey appearance with the gentle tonal movement characteristic of a velvet pile. Its plain surface is enlivened by subtle vertical shifts in light across the swatch.

About this fabric

This plain velvet reads as a softened blue-grey rather than a warm stone grey, giving it a calm, contemporary character. The close pile catches the light unevenly, creating delicate bands of lighter and deeper grey without a printed motif. Woven from 100% polyester and supplied at 140 cm (55") wide, it is specified for curtains, fixed upholstery and bedspreads. A 100,000 Martindale rub-test rating supports its use on fixed upholstered pieces; care instructions specify cool machine washing as the minimum wash, professional dry cleaning, no tumble drying, no bleach and a cool iron.
