About this fabric

Lexham Charcoal has a near-black charcoal tone with a restrained warm-brown cast, rather than a blue or silvery grey. The surface appears plain and softly mottled, with fine tonal variation that prevents the dark shade from looking completely flat. Made from 100% polyester and supplied at 140 cm (55") wide, it is specified for fixed upholstery. Its 45,000 Martindale rub test makes it suitable for hard-working fixed seating; care instructions specify hand washing and professional dry cleaning, with no tumble drying or bleach and a cool iron.

How to use it

Use this deep warm charcoal on a sofa, bench or dining seat where its near-black depth can give the room a grounded, tailored feel. Balance the dark upholstery with pale stone, warm timber or softly contrasting textured fabrics.
