Lansdowne Mahogany is a richly dark brown textile with a close, fine woven surface. Its warm mahogany tone shifts subtly across the swatch, giving the plain cloth quiet depth rather than a flat block of colour.

About this fabric

Made from 100% polyester, this 140 cm (55") wide fabric has a finely textured weave visible across the surface, with tiny tonal variations that soften the deep brown colour. The mahogany shade reads warm and grounded, while the closely woven texture catches the light in a restrained, understated way. With a 50,000 Martindale rub test, it is suitable for fixed upholstery as well as curtains and bedspreads. After care is specified as machine wash cool minimum, professional dry cleaning, no tumble drying, no bleach and a cool iron.

How to use it

Use Lansdowne Mahogany to give a chair, headboard or upholstered bench a warm, enveloping finish, or introduce it as full curtains for a darker, cocooning scheme. Balance the deep brown with warm neutrals, aged timber and lighter textured layers.
