Lansdowne Plum is a deep, muted plum textile with a quietly varied surface that shifts between berry and brown-purple in the light. Its understated woven texture keeps the rich colour composed rather than glossy or dramatic.

About this fabric

The close weave has a fine, slightly irregular horizontal texture, giving the plain surface gentle tonal movement across the dark plum ground. Woven in 100% polyester and supplied at 140 cm (55") wide, it is specified for curtains, fixed upholstery and bedspreads. A 50,000 Martindale rub test supports its use on fixed seating, while the dense-looking surface gives the colour a tailored, substantial presence. Care instructions specify a cool machine wash minimum, professional dry cleaning, no tumble drying, no bleach and a cool iron.

How to use it

Use Lansdowne Plum on a reading chair, banquette or full-length curtain where its cool berry depth can anchor softer neutrals, smoky greys or warm timber. Repeat it on a bedspread for a coordinated, enveloping scheme without introducing a pattern.

The deep plum tone brings tailored depth to upholstery, curtains and coordinated bedspreads.
