Falconer Stripe Plum

Mulberry Stripes II FabricFD789.H113

Falconer Stripe Plum shows closely spaced vertical lines in layered plum, russet, olive and brown-grey tones. The woven surface has a subtly dry, ribbed texture that gives the colourway quiet depth rather than high contrast.

About this fabric

Made from 70% cotton and 30% jute, this 130 cm-wide fabric combines a tactile natural fibre character with a finely lined stripe. The plum ground is softened by narrow rust, olive and taupe-grey threads, creating a warm, slightly weathered appearance as the light moves across the weave. Its 14.5 cm horizontal pattern repeat supports the disciplined rhythm of the vertical striping. The supplied usage includes curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads, while care requires professional dry cleaning only.

How to use it

Use the muted plum stripe on a tailored chair, ottoman or upholstered headboard where its olive and russet accents can be picked up in cushions or painted joinery. It also gives full-length curtains a structured, quietly colourful finish without overwhelming the room.

A richly toned narrow stripe that brings measured colour and tactile depth to upholstery, curtains and bedspreads.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
