Falconer Stripe Indigo/Red

Falconer Stripe Indigo/Red presents closely spaced vertical lines in a deep, cool indigo, threaded with red, taupe, grey and lighter neutral accents. The fine ribbed weave gives the stripe a tactile, softly variegated surface rather than a flat printed appearance.

About this fabric

Woven from 70% cotton and 30% jute, this 130 cm wide fabric has a dry, lightly textured handle that suits both upholstery and drapery applications. The dark indigo base gives the colourway its greatest depth, while muted red lines add warmth without overpowering the cooler blue and grey notes. The narrow vertical striping creates a tailored rhythm, with a stated horizontal pattern repeat of 14.5 cm. It is suitable for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads; care instructions specify professional dry cleaning only, with no washing, bleaching or ironing.

How to use it

Use Falconer Stripe Indigo/Red on a tailored chair, headboard or loose-covered sofa where the indigo can act as a grounded neutral and the restrained red stripes introduce warmth. As curtains or a bedspread, its close vertical lines will add structure without overwhelming a room.

Use the cool indigo ground and narrow red, taupe and grey stripes to bring tailored colour and textural depth to upholstery, curtains or bedspreads.
