Shepton Stripe Plum/Green

Icons Fabrics FabricFD811.H154

Shepton Stripe Plum/Green combines narrow vertical stripes in dusky plum, moss green, taupe and warm red. Its close-woven surface gives the colourway a softly textured, gently layered appearance rather than a flat block of colour.

About this fabric

Woven from 50% cotton, 22% viscose, 16% acrylic, 9% linen and 3% nylon, this 140 cm (55") fabric has a tactile striped texture visible across the swatch. The plum and red accents add depth, while the muted green and taupe threads temper the palette with an earthy, understated feel. A 12 cm (4.71") horizontal pattern repeat keeps the vertical stripe arrangement measured and easy to position. Suitable for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads, it has a 20,000 Martindale rub test for practical upholstery use.

How to use it

Use the plum and moss-green stripes to add structured colour to a neutral sitting room, or pair them with warm taupe and natural wood for an earthy scheme. The vertical direction also suits curtains, where the fine striping can emphasise height.

Muted plum, green and taupe stripes bring tailored colour to upholstery, curtains and bedspreads.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
