Babington Check Green/Sand combines muted green lines with a warm sand ground in a fine, evenly balanced check. Its softly woven surface gives the colourway a calm, gently rustic depth rather than a sharp graphic contrast.

About this fabric

This 140 cm (55") fabric is made from 40% viscose, 33% cotton and 27% linen, giving the small check a natural-looking woven character. The green reads as subdued and slightly earthy against the sand base, with fine intersecting lines creating a quiet plaid effect across the surface. A 5 cm (1.96") vertical repeat and 3.5 cm (1.38") horizontal repeat keep the pattern neat and closely spaced. With a 45,000 Martindale rub test, it is specified for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads.

How to use it

Use the muted green and sand tones to soften a relaxed sitting room, window seat or upholstered headboard. Pair it with warm timber, natural linens and understated neutral walls to bring out the check’s earthy depth.
