Lindisfarne Plaid Lovat combines a cool, muted lovat-green ground with layered taupe, cream, grey and restrained rust lines. The softly brushed wool surface gives the check a gently weathered, quietly rustic character.

About this fabric

Woven in 100% wool, this medium-scale plaid balances deep desaturated green with warm taupe, chalky cream and fine rust-coloured stripes. The intersecting lines create softly blended squares rather than a stark high-contrast check, while the wool texture diffuses the pattern at close range. The fabric is 150 cm wide, with a 28 cm vertical repeat and 25 cm horizontal repeat. It is suitable for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads, and has a 63,000 Wyzenbeek Cotton Duck rub test. Care is professional dry cleaning only; do not wash, bleach or iron.

How to use it

Pair the cool lovat-green base with aged timber, stone and warm neutral upholstery for a relaxed country scheme. Used on a reading chair, sofa or full-length curtains, the rust pinstripes add just enough warmth without overpowering the muted plaid.
