Lindisfarne Plaid Charcoal/Red sets deep charcoal squares against muted brick-red bands, with fine tan, grey and black lines threading through the checks. Its woven surface gives the plaid a softly layered, slightly heathered appearance rather than a flat graphic finish.

About this fabric

Woven from 100% wool, this charcoal and red plaid has a substantial, tactile appearance suited to both tailored and relaxed interiors. Broad charcoal grounds and deep red blocks are crossed by narrow warm beige, grey and black lines, creating depth without losing the clarity of the checked structure. The fabric is 150 cm wide and has a 28 cm vertical pattern repeat with a 25 cm horizontal repeat. It is suitable for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads, with a 63,000 Wyzenbeek Cotton Duck rub test; care requires professional dry cleaning and no washing, bleaching or ironing.

How to use it

Use the charcoal ground on a sofa, armchair or headboard to anchor a room, then pick up the muted red lines with cushions or a wool throw. As curtains or a bedspread, it brings a warm heritage note while the cooler charcoal keeps the overall effect balanced.
