Wicket Spice combines a warm cream ground with closely ordered, rounded geometric forms in rust, ochre and deep burgundy. The tonal contrast gives the design a distinctly autumnal character while keeping the overall surface light.

About this fabric

The fabric shows linked, looping outlines arranged in a regular repeat, with alternating rust-red, mustard and wine-coloured oval centres. Its warm cream background and lightly textured woven surface allow the darker motifs to read clearly without becoming harsh or overly dense. Wicket Spice is composed of 62% linen and 38% polyacrylic, measures 134 cm wide, and has a 19 cm vertical repeat with a 34 cm horizontal repeat. It is specified for curtains and bedspreads; after-care is professional dry cleaning only, with no washing, bleaching or ironing.

How to use it

Use Wicket Spice for full-length curtains or a coordinated bedspread where its cream ground can brighten the room and its rust, ochre and burgundy accents can be echoed in cushions, painted joinery or a wool rug. Its orderly geometry suits both warm contemporary and updated mid-century schemes.
