Dalwhinnie Multi

Mulberry Country Walk FabricFD849.Y101

Dalwhinnie Multi places looping, angular lines in rust, burgundy, teal, blue, green and ochre across a soft cream ground. The colourful geometry has a clean, graphic presence while the pale background keeps the overall impression light.

About this fabric

The design is formed from broad, meandering lines that turn sharply through the repeat, with warm rust and ochre set against cooler teal, blue and green, plus deep burgundy accents. Its 72% linen and 28% acrylic composition is supplied at a 132 cm width, giving the pattern a substantial textile format for made-to-measure work. The vertical repeat is 64 cm and the horizontal repeat is 66 cm, creating a clearly visible medium-scale rhythm across the cloth. Specified for curtains and bedspreads, it must be dry cleaned professionally and should not be washed, bleached or ironed.

How to use it

Use Dalwhinnie Multi on full-length curtains where its cream base can brighten the room, or on a bedspread to gather the rust, teal and ochre accents into the wider scheme. Pair it with quiet cream upholstery and selectively repeat one of the deeper burgundy or teal lines in cushions or accessories.

Use the cream ground and rust, teal, blue, green and ochre lines to bring lively geometric colour to curtains or bedspreads.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
